Davidson and Wonders have not publicly commented on the crash. The two met in 2021 when they co-starred in the 2022 movie “Bodies Bodies Bodies.” The “Generation” alum also played Davidson’s on-and-off girlfriend in the 2023 Peacock comedy series “Bupkis,” which is loosely based on the comedian’s life.
The pair first sparked romance rumors in December when they attended a New York Rangers game together along with fellow “Bodies Bodies Bodies” co-star Rachel Sennot.
In January, they were spotted getting cozy on the beach during a vacation to Hawaii. In the past few months, they have been spotted on several dates. And the couple had recently returned from another Hawaiian getaway before the crash. Beverly Hills home earlier this year.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum was charged Friday with a misdemeanor count of reckless driving, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office told Fox News Digital.
“We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home. Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision,” the DA’s office said in an emailed statement. A dark Mercedes-Benz sedan struck a fire hydrant, prompting calls to police.
“Preliminary investigators believe speed may have been a factor,” Lt. Reginald Evans told Fox News Digital at the time, adding that no arrests were made. This is an alarming trend that we cannot ignore. As a result, it’s crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable.”
Davidson is expected to be arraigned in court July 27.
Representatives for Davidson did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
