Taylor Swift May Have Been Snubbed At The Grammys But It Didn’t Stop Her From Drinking Champagne And Cheering Everyone Else On.

You heard me right. Taylor Swift left The Grammys last night without a single bit of hardware to call her own. Am I surprised? If I’m being completely honest with myself, not really. The Tortured Poets Department is, without question, a top 3 best album of Taylor’s whether the Grammys acknowledge it or not. At the same time, she only entered the first half of the album into the Grammy pool, and I disagree that Fortnight was a strong enough single to take home a win.

We needed all 31 songs and a different single to go up against those who had powerhouse years like Sabrina, Chappell and Beyonce. Maybe if The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived was the single, we would’ve beat out the other Haters Anthem of the Year from Kendrick that absolutely swept the night.

At the end of the day, the fans know how much this album means to Taylor, to the Swifties, and anyone who came aboard the train because of it. What I’m exceptionally proud of, is the fact that despite losing all of her categories, Taylor stood there and danced and cheered for EVERYONE all night. She of course, always does this, but last night you could truly sense that she was just there to have a good time and celebrate her peers.
