Here’s Why Taylor Swift Trademarked the Phrase ‘Female Rage: The Musical’

While the office accepted the application for meeting requirements, an examining attorney hasn’t been assigned to the filing, per the organization’s website. However, Swifties are already wondering — and predicting — what the phrase could mean.According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the application for “Female Rage: The Musical” seeks the right to use the term in relation to musical sound recordings, jewelry, clothing, live performances and additional merchandise. Swift often files such applications ahead of the release of new batches of logoed merch and other paraphernalia.about the shows on May 12.
