has become notorious for posting images on social media that often walk the tightrope of public acceptance and her latest snap is no different star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself posing topless alongside her clothed wife, Cherelle, who is currently pregnant with their first childGriner, 33, showcased her tattoos on her back as she turned sidewards to the camera, with her hand placed on her other half’s growing belly.
Cherelle was wearing a tan-colored bra and a light satin gown in the photoshoot, and she could be seen grinning from ear to ear as Griner looked at her with a look of adoration.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, announced they were expecting in April this year.
While fans poured into the comments section to offer their well wishes to the pair, not everyone was on board with how the six-time WNBA All-Star chose to present herself.
Pointed at the Phoenix Mercury center, one online user wrote: “sis loves taking her shirt off for no reason”.
It is a direct reference to a video where Griner was seen hooping basketballs in a pool with her friends while topless, and WNBA fans were divided over the incident.
