Similarly, a viral post, which includes pictures captioned “BREAKING NEWS: Fox News just reported that Gold

Medalist Simone Biles Is Pregnant at the 2024 Olympics. ‘3 weeks gone’… See more,” has garnered 365 comments and spread rapidly across platforms like Facebook and X.

The virality of the post and the personality involved made DUBAWA verify the claim.

Additionally, there is no evidence that Biles made such statements in late July 2024, as no credible records or indications that Fox News published and later deleted any related content from its website.

In our preliminary investigation, we discovered that the earliest instance of this rumour began circulating on Facebook in late July 2024.

This initial post appears to be the origin of the false information that has since spread widely across various social media platforms.

We also did a keyword search and saw no credible news organisation reported the news.

The link attached to the post was also flagged as suspicious and had a low trust score on Scam Adviser.
