Ridiculous: Kourtney Kardashian supports Sister Kim’s attack on Taylor Swift on social media, defying all the odds and public opinion to fix Kim Kardashian’s bad manners…
that shows Kanye West allegedly telling Taylor about “Famous.” But to hear Taylor explain her side — and as there are two sides to every story, we should — the video isn’t all that it seems.
In a post uploaded to Instagram, the singer-songwriter asked “where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world.” (The video does show Kanye telling someone — with a voice that sounds a lot like Taylor’s — discussing the line “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex,” which he recited but did not play in full. The person at the other end of the line later goes on to discuss the fact that Kanye reportedly didn’t know who Taylor was when he infamously crashed her speech at the VMAs, thereby lending to the concept of “I made her famous.” The words “that bitch,” however, are never brought up in Kim’s Snapchat story.)”You cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard,” Taylor continues in her post, and says that Kanye never played her “Famous” on that phone call. “Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is a character assassination,” she added.
Her caption also reads “That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet,” which could infer that Taylor did not know the call was on speaker or being videotaped at the time.
